Good Service! & Happy Mother's Day!

I can't stand not being able to connect to the network! As most should know by now, most places (coffee joints, shopping mall, community centres, etc) are all hot-spot places with free access to the internet. Stupid! Other than the poor connectivity, the signing in is already a huge problem!

Now, on a lighter note.

I am having a cuppa ice blended pure chocolate at the Coffee Beans at this very moment. Even the queue for the making order took ages! There's not a single soul behind the counter! Being the impatient me, I would usually walk off to another cafe or something. But! after a while, I realised there's only one staff at work - the outlet manager. What makes me have the urge to post about this is the good service the manager rendered. He's still as patient and polite even though the stream of crowd came pouring in after me. A loud shoutout of commendation to Danny Seah of Coffee Beans @ SunPlaza! He's still serving this customers with smiles despite his sweating forehead! *Keep Up the Good Work* Tell me how can I just walk off like that? Guess the others feel the same way I do. =) No one has complained about the delay of making orders and getting their orders!

Mother's Day is good. My mummy's happy cos she received a pretty bouquet of flowers from me! =) And so does his mummy. Both mummies modestly exchanged their greetings too. *grinz*

Happy Mothers' Day to ALL Mums out there! I love you, mum! (only to my mum! *Muakz*)

I love my MUM!

Mothers' Day is just this Sunday. It reminded me of the happy Sundays I've had these 2 weeks. I love being home with my family and especially when my mummy took the effort to whip up even the simplest meal.

XOXO

What a holiday

Do you know what's it like to meet with a car accident? Well, I do. I've met with one just last Monday, just before the public holiday. And... I'm happy. Crazy, you may think I am but I've been waiting for a day like this for 3 over years now! *heh*

The Toyota Altis came to hit black beauty's ass on the expressway when she'd already come to a halt. I was already happily yakking away with Lisa just beside me waiting for the traffic in front to start moving and... BANG! Obviously the guy behind that wheel wasn't concerntrating on the road. Guess the ferris wheel at Marina Bay (which is the main distraction along the eway) made him lose his attention on the road. I was still in the car and the driver behind came over to apologize "Sorry. I know it's my fault." I got out of the car and walked to the rear.

The first thing I did was to walk over to his back passenger. His young daughter was crying so badly with her mum's lips bleeding. Poor girl. I cooed her and stroke her on her hair. I didn't care much about the accident then - I forgot all about the procedure of picture taking for the insurance. Seeing the tears flowing, the 4 year old really melted my heart.

The whole drama lasted less than 10 minutes, we drove off to Bugis where we wanted to go do some shopping. Only at the carpark then I realised my car was so badly hit! And the engine's overheated due to the hard impact which caused the heat from the exhaust to return to the engine. I wasn't allowed to drive the car for long. At that very instant, all the shopping mood was gone.

After receiving calls from Wen, the driver's wife, I wanted to let my car go to their workshop for repair works. I am a driver too and I know how hard it is to let the insurance settle the claims and the NCB will be affected (they'll have to pay a higher premium in their next insurance). But Lisa hurt her back and I can't be liable for the rest of her life if it's serious. I had to let the insurance do the backend works and claim them for Lisa's misfortune. I felt bad both sides but what can I do?

Accident aside. I was so happy to be given a brand new Mitsubishi Lancer to drive for a couple of days before I see my black beauty's ass so new and polished.

Now who says accident is a bad thing?

The only bad thing is I bought my car plate number and it doesn't come out in the lottery! Darn! Wasted 20 over bucks!
